A Woman Who Knew What She Wanted

Her mother was a strong woman who married a controlling man. She vowed she wouldn’t make the same mistake, and so she married a man who would do anything for her. When she told him to propose to her, even though they hadn’t finished school and everyone in her family was against it, he did. When she decided to leave home, defying everyone in her world, he came with a moving van. At only twenty-two, with her biological clock ticking and having decided she wanted at least seven children, he dutifully knocked her up. And when she couldn’t wait for the baby to be born, he went to the library, learned how to do a C-section, and got that baby out. Everything in her little family was YES, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
